Initial Needs Assessment
With Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) capabilities on-staff, CRCI can assist in assessing your complete needs. Our approach will look at not only your immediate applications but will also take into account future applications, future growth of your organization and possible technology changes which would impact your company's needs. Considerations like type of equipment, load balancing and redundancy will be factored into our cost/benefit analysis. Our comprehensive design capabilities are second to none.
Site Surveys
CRCI technicians are available to conduct comprehensive site surveys to accurately assess your requirements. Factors such as structural layout of the facility, building codes and safety and physical security issues are among the conditions that will be incorporated into the final design.
Complex Network / System Design
Your network will be designed by an RCDD and a Senior Electrical Engineer with many years of complex design experience. Our designs include state of the art components integrated with the latest design specifications and requirements. Our infrastructure design capabilities range across a broad spectrum of commercial applications including large transportation centers, multi-building educational campus environments, commercial airports, medical centers as well as any traditional office environments.

Pre-job Construction
Our in-house construction capabilities allow us to perform many construction activities which may be required before a job begins. This would include facility modifications to install telecommunications closets, core drilling, installing cableways, support hardware, conduit trays, rack installation, mounting equipment, installing grounding grids and antennas.
Fusion/Structured Cabling Installation
We can install a wide variety of transmission media including copper, fiber optic, twisted pair, baseband and broadband as well as associated components. We also install a variety of wireless applications including Motorola Canopy, 802.11a, 802.11b, 802.11g cameras, WiFi VoIP. Our custom Fusion Siamese cabling system can accommodate a full hybrid system of WAN/LAN, Security, Video and Automation.
About Fiber Optic Computer Cabling

Benefits of Fiber Optic Cabling Include:
- Operates much faster than the traditional wire cable currently able to carry light signals at speeds of up to 40GB/sec.
- Capable of carrying a signal much further in distance without the signal having to be refreshed. This is very beneficial for WAN or Wide Area Networks.
- Cables experience essentially no crosstalk (interference caused from analog signals in parallel electrical wires). Cross talk, in a telecommunications environment, can result in pieces of speech or signal tones leaking from another person's connection.
Fusion/Structured Cabling Installation
Fusion/Structured Cabling can refer to building or campus telecommunications cabling infrastructure. Structured cabling installation and design is governed by a set of standards that determine how to wire systems for specific structures and usages. According to International Engineering Consortium, these internationally recognized standards can effectively reduce the cost for the IT Infrastructure during the initial construction of a modern intelligent building.
Structured Systems are about building your network infrastructure right the first time through proper planning in the construction stage. If you are planning to invest in an IT Infrastructure, you'll want to make sure it's expandable and able to conform to future technological advancements
CAT3
Traditional voice grade cable. Supports Ethernet 10Base-T data.
CAT5
Traditional data grade cable that is rated to 100Mhz for supporting 100 Base-T cable needs.
CAT5e
Enhanced CAT5 cable. CAT5e has been ratified as a cabling standard with stricter specifications than those for CAT5, CAT5e is rated at 100Mhz at a minimum. CAT5e is the cable needed for 10-Base-T, 100 Base-T and Gigabit Ethernet needs.
CAT6
With ratings up to 250Mhz, this computer cabling standard brings increased performance over and above CAT-5e.
Fiber to Desktop
Use of fiber optics in communications is growing. Fiber-optic communications systems have key advantages over older types of communication. They offer vastly increased bandwidths, allowing tremendous amounts of information to carried quickly from place to place.
Copper or Fiber Backbone
Copper cable is standard for extending any type of communication application over a short lenght: telephone lines, voice connections, or data transmission.
Fiber optic cable allows signals to travel for long distances without the use of repeaters, which are needed to compensate for reductions in signal strength.
Single or Multimode Fiber
Single-mode Fiber is an optical fiber in which only the lowest order bound mode can propagate at the wavelength of interest. Single mode fiber is normally used for long distance, high-bandwidth applications.
Multi-mode fiber is an optical fiber that supports the propagation of more than one bound mode. Multi mode fiber is used for shorter distance transmissions, such as local area networks.
Testing and Certification
CRCI tests and certifies all of our installations to meet or exceed our customer's requirements for speed, data transfer and cable/connector quality. We utilize the latest network analyzers, TDR's, OTDR's and spectrum analysis to analyze and certify every component of your system to the highest industry standards. In addition, CRCI has a strict Quality Assurance program based on CMMI and ISO 9001:2008 standards and procedures to ensure a quality and successful installation.
